Frequently Asked Questions

Chief of Mom Life is built on a simple idea: Motherhood is Leadership.
It is a leadership framework and community designed to help Moms lead their lives with clarity, structure, and confidence. Through the Chief of Mom Life Operating System, a structured curriculum, and a small-group peer community called a Mod, Members reduce repeated decisions, protect what matters most, and build systems that hold in real life.
-
Leadership in Chief of Mom Life means taking ownership of the direction and design of your life. It means clarifying what matters most, making intentional decisions about priorities, and creating systems that support those priorities — so you are leading with intention rather than operating in constant reaction.
Leadership does not mean controlling everything or doing everything perfectly. It means leading deliberately, with the right tools.
-
A Chief of Mom Life is a Mom who leads her life with clarity, confidence, and intention. It means choosing to design your life rather than react to it — deciding what matters most and creating structure that makes real progress possible.
-
Many groups provide connection. Chief of Mom Life provides connection plus structure.
Members move through a shared framework — the Operating System — designed to clarify priorities, reduce mental load, and create lasting change. The Mod experience combines peer accountability with a consistent format that keeps progress moving between sessions. This is not a support group or a chat community. It is a structured leadership practice with a peer circle that holds you to it.
-
The Chief of Mom Life Operating System is the framework at the center of the membership. It has five components:
Values — what matters most, so decisions require less deliberation.
Essentials — the conditions that must remain intact for your values to hold.
Current Priorities — the one to three outcomes you are actively working toward right now.
Mechanisms — intentionally designed systems that solve recurring problems once, so they stop demanding your ongoing attention.
Reflecting, Adjusting, and Recommitting — the ongoing practice that keeps everything aligned with real life.
The curriculum walks you through each component. Your Mod supports you in applying them.
-
A Mod is a small group of three to six Members formed by Chief of Mom Life — matched by life stage, availability, and what you share in your waitlist form. Mods meet regularly for Mod Connections: structured, peer-led sessions with a consistent format that supports reflection, accountability, and forward movement.
You do not need to form your own group. We match you.
-
Each Mod Connection follows a consistent structure: a brief check-in, a mechanism round where each member shares current progress, discussion of a specific framework concept, and a commitment for the coming week. Sessions run approximately one hour. The format keeps conversations focused and practical — not just supportive.
-
Real life happens. Your Mod sets its own norms around attendance and scheduling. Consistency strengthens the experience — for you and for your Mod — but the structure is designed to accommodate real life, not require perfection.
-
Mods are peer-led by design. The structure and prompts belong to Chief of Mom Life. The conversations belong to the Mod. This model builds self-leadership rather than dependence on a coach or facilitator.
Abby and Jessica are closely involved with every Mod during the beta — present or observing in the early weeks to ensure the experience is working as designed.
-
Beta founding members receive a permanent founding rate that locks in for life. This rate will not increase as long as you remain a member.
From Cohort 2 onward, full membership is available at a standard monthly rate. Annual prepay is available at a discount.
Join the waitlist and we will share full pricing details when a spot opens.
-
Join the waitlist at chiefofmomlife.com. Tell us about yourself and your availability — we use that information to match you with your Mod. When a founding member spot opens, you'll hear from us first.
Beta Cohort 1 opens June 9, 2026.
-
Membership includes access to the Chief of Mom Life App — which houses the full curriculum (Modules 0 through 4), reflection journals, and a growing Method library. It also includes a Mod seat — a matched small group with structured Mod Connections — and access to the broader community through Mod-Comms and Contributors.
-
Approximately one to two hours per week — split between working through a Module in the App and attending your Mod Connection. Many Members find this time returned quickly through the clarity and reduced decision-making the framework creates.
-
The framework is designed to create the opposite effect. By clarifying priorities and solving recurring problems once rather than repeatedly, most Members find their mental load decreases rather than increases. The time you invest in the Operating System returns itself in the decisions it removes.
-
That is exactly where to start. Module 1 begins with clarifying what matters most. You do not need to have anything figured out before you join — you need a willingness to look at your life with structure.
-
No. Chief of Mom Life is for any Mom who carries significant responsibility for the decisions, coordination, and emotional labor of family life — regardless of employment status or life stage.

Advice is easy to find. Implementation is harder.
Chief of Mom Life combines a structured framework with peer accountability and a consistent practice. You are not collecting ideas — you are building systems, with a group of Moms who are doing the same work alongside you. That combination — structure plus community plus accountability — is what produces lasting change rather than temporary clarity.
-
No. Chief of Mom Life is not therapy and does not replace professional mental health support. The community is designed for forward movement and practical leadership — not for processing trauma or crisis. If you are navigating challenges that require specialized care, working with a licensed professional is valuable alongside this experience.
-
What you share in your Mod stays in your Mod. Chief of Mom Life Members commit to confidentiality as part of community participation.
Chief of Mom Life has administrative access to the App and WhatsApp to address technical issues, ensure safety, or respond if concerns are raised. We may also review platform-level patterns to make thoughtful improvements to the program. Conversations within your Mod are not monitored.
